I have many names, there are about 7 people I know who call me just strait up Josh. Others have devised different names which I will try to list and give a history of here, if I miss any please let me know. JoshGee (one syllable) - this is my first and last name condensed in one short easy package. This is the most common one I believe. I have no idea who first started it but it seems to spring up in totally isolated cases. mostly girls call me this but not always. Gosh Gee - Brought to the main stream by Mr. Shea in Softmore Geomatry. Used fairly infrequently, but I like it cause it is not based on drugs.
GeeJ - Mostly used by Brent Cooper, after he saw it written on the back of my swim tag at camp.
Joshy - called by a select few, it is a name that I have had since I was very little. Geeba - this begins a whole string of names which are based around a certain plant which is now legal in canada. It started as the word Cheeba (also spell Chiba)(also spelled Xiba) and they replaced "Chee" with "Gee." I believe it started during the Canoe trip last year.
Geefer - Repalce the "R" in reefer with a "G" and there you go. About a popular as Geeba but with less other names springing from it. Goobie - replace "D" in Doobie with a "G" and there you are. Doesn't make as much sense as Geeba, but is used more prevalently now. Goobs - a shorthand version of Goobie, getting very popular as it is easy to say.
Geebs - a mix of Goobs and Geeba, as far as I know used only by Jesse Platt. Gobi - mutilated Goobie again, named after a character Horacio Sanz plays on Saturday Night Live. The character is a big weed head in collage. hmm.... Geed - remove "W" from weed and drop in a "G" not spoken anymore, but out there.
Geeblunt - used very infrequently, basically exists because my friends wanted more nicknames with a weed base.
joshBgosh - given to me by Annie Park, who you can see on my friends page. It is used by mostly her. I think it started in softmore geomatry aswell.
geeber - used by Adrian Martin, almost solely. He made it up to have a name to his credit
geeferoni - made up by Coop, it mixes geefer and beeferoni both things I enjoy.
geebanater - A Lise invention, she made it up very recently
geebamiester - made up at the same time as geebanater, also by Lise.
gee with scorn - used by my friends. They figured out that since my entire family calls each other Gee, we must have some way to differentiate. Therefore I am Gee with scorn. This works all to well because my sister's name is Hope.
gee with weed - from above. May be confused with my father.
Sheeba - use by Jim, basterdization of geeba. I think it kinda clever
Sheeba Geeba - sounds cooler then either alone. From above and also from Jim.
Sheebidy Geebidy - from above, also due to Jim.
Jessup - name of a small but memorable role as a butler in my school production of "The Scarlet Pimpernel," used
mostly by techies.
Sboog - goobs backwards, derived from ghcaz, which is zach g backwards. Very popular, is right now the most used nickname.
Sbooggdogg - derived from sboog and coopdogg, I needed a "dogg" nickname.
SDogg - shortening of Sboogdogg
SD - even more shrtening of SbooggDogg
